OUR SERVICES

Chrysalis to Wings' primary focus is on providing transitional housing and services necessary to move clients from homelessness to a level of self-sufficiency that will allow them to achieve independence.

Chrysalis

While Shelter is a basic need, equally important is to successfully navigate supportive services so that homelessness is brief and non-recurring. The services provided by CTW assist the residents in moving beyond homelessness and into permanent housing in a timely manner.

In addition to transitional housing, CTW services include but are not limited to:

  • Identification document replacement

  • Job search assistance

  • Transportation assistance

  • Childcare resources

  • Medical care and prescription assistance

  • Clothing

  • Food

  • Toiletries

  • Financial literacy

  • Counseling

Teaching how to budget and save is at the core of training. Using the client's actual income and expenses ensures that, upon completion of the program, clients are able to achieve long-term self-sufficiency.

Involvement in a local church and Celebrate Recovery(1) will help the residents identify and heal from the underlying issues contributing to poor decision-making and homelessness. Using an Individual Service Plan (ISP) approach, each client will receive support services specific to their needs.

(1) Celebrate Recovery is an American Christian twelve-step program designed to facilitate recovery from a wide variety of troubling behavior patterns.
